If you have any concerns or questions, dont hesitate to contact me. The results always depend on the skin and on how you take care of your tattoo during the healing process. If any touch up is needed, dont worry - its free. You just need to contact me in up to 3 months after the session.
BEFORE/AFTER CARE
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A TATTOO SESSION
  1. Get a good night’s sleep and come in well rested.
  2. Stay hydrated. 24 hours before your appointment you should be drinking a lot of water. Hydrated skin takes ink a lot better than dehydrated skin which will make the entire process a lot smoother.
  3. Moisturize your skin 1 - 2 times a day for at least 7 days before your tattoo.
  4. Eat well before the session and bring some snacks and drinks.
  5. You want to be as comfortable as possible during your tattoo session and that means wearing a comfortable outfit. Keep in mind that your clothes can get dirty (although i’m doing my best to work as clean as I can) so don’t choose your best and newest ones.
  6. Don’t forget to bring your good mood with you. It will be fun. Handpoke tattoos don’t hurt at all 😉
WHAT NOT TO DO BEFORE YOUR SESSION
  1. Alcohol and drugs
Don’t drink alcohol or take drugs at least 24-48 hours before the tattoo.
Tattoo artists aren’t legally allowed to tattoo and provide services to customers that appear drunk and intoxicated.
  2. Blood thinning pills
Just like alcohol, certain pills like Aspirin or Ibuprofen can act as blood-thinning agents. It is essential to stay away from such pills at least 24 to 48 hours before getting a tattoo.
  3. Sun exposure
Sun exposure damages the skin and makes it ‘burnt’. This can lead to excessive drying of the skin as well as peeling. It is essential to avoid sun burning of the skin before and after getting a tattoo. And even after your tattoo heals, you still need to keep protecting it from the sun to avoid fading and aging of the tattooed skin.
  4. Avoid coming to the tattoo shop while being sick. let me know as soon as possible if you need to postpone or cancel our session.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEW TATTOO
  1. When you remove the film after 2 or 3 days (it’s best to do it in the shower), you should wash the tattoo with antibacterial or natural delicate soap, pat dry with the paper towel and put a thin layer of tattoo cream on (it can also be bepanthen). Repeat the process 2 - 3 times a day for at least 7 - 10 days or until healed.
  2. Do not take a bath for at least 7 - 10 days, only a shower.
Protect from the sun until the tattoo is healed. Then use a SPF 50 sunscreen.
  3. Remember: do not scrub, soak in any kind of water (swimming pool, ocean, sea, lake etc.) and overmoisturize until it’s healed.
The tattoo should be healed in 2 weeks approximately.
  4. Try to avoid alcohol for two days after the session.
  5. Now you can take your time to admire your tattoo and show it to your friends. Enjoy 😉
